I am a PhD student at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences under the supervision of Profs. David Sander and Gilles Pourtois. Previously, I graduated from the University of Geneva with a Master of Science in affective and cognitive psychology. I recently joined the Emotion Lab at Karolinska Institutet for a six-month research stay.
My research focuses on the basic mechanisms underlying emotional learning. More specifically, I aim at investigating whether organisms preferentially learn about stimuli that are deemed highly relevant to their needs and goals.
