Troy Dildine

I am pursuing a Ph.D. between the Clinical Neuroscience Department at Karolinska Institutet and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Prior to this, I spent two years as a research fellow at the NIH with Dr. Lauren Atlas. I completed an honors thesis in neuroscience at Dartmouth College under the mentorship of Professor Catherine Norris, and spent a year under the guidance of Professor Tiffany Ito at the University of Colorado Boulder.

In the Emotion Lab I will be using neuroimaging and psychophysiological measures to study patient-doctor interactions. I am mostly interested in identifying cognitive and social factors that may contribute to health disparities in pain and creating interventions towards more equitable and enhanced pain care.
